Yuko's History

Much like other graphic designers, I started making graphics when I got interested in Neopets, in about 2005, when I was 11 years old. I was fascinated at how beautiful user lookups and amazing guild layouts they could make. When I went to places where they give out lookups, guild layouts, and shop layouts, I started to get used to the coding. I looked up tutorials on how to make guild layouts and lookups in MS Paint, which was the only program I had until 2006. In September 21st, 2005, I made my first website. It was an Avatar The Last Airbender website called Katara Water Dreams. It was freewebs hosted. At first I used my real name, but then I felt like making an alias. I went with Waterbending Master, and I stuck to it. After trying like 8 programs to use to make graphics, I found a trial to Paintshop Pro X, in 2006. I was so proud of myself on how much I had improved with that program. After I downloaded the free trial for PSP XI, I was certain that Paintshop Pro was the program for me. wub Months passed and I started getting better and less attracted to Neopets. I closed down KWD, and decided to take a break. (People stopped visiting anyways.) I got into neopets again, but when they changed their layout I was so mad. I stopped playing neopets over night. Literally. xDD I bought Paintshop Pro XI. Weeks passed and I got into graphic designing more. I decided to make another website. Then Arising Thoughts was born, around spring of 2006. At first it was a success. I had many affies and siblings, and a ton of link exchanges. In the summer I left to Ecuador for 2 months. Well, the site died. My hits went down drastically, so I decided to revamp the site when I got back. During the revamp I realized that not many people liked my site. The revamp was hard work, and I knew it wasn't worth it. So I just killed the site and gave my self another break. sweating I got into Avatar again, since new episodes were being produced. I wasn't much of a fan anymore though. Then Sam had a wonderful (well for the moment) idea. We made a new Avatar website with a staff of all the first graphic designers that made Avatar websites. It was called Sanctuary Illusion. Half of the name came from Sam and the other half from Rose. That site was kinda a disaster. Our stuff disappeared twice and people got sick of the site. Soon enough, it closed. pinch I got bored once more, and here is Dazzling Designs! shifty

The Name

"Why Dazzling Designs?" You might say. Well that's a boring story. xD Well, simply, I just went name hunting and found the word Dazzling in Thesaurus.com, and Ta-da! Dazzling Designs. xD

Site History

DD got hosting and opened in Febuary 18, 2008 (Presidents Day). Thanks Teddy for the hosting! You rock. wink Nothing excited happened other than that, I guess.
